Dorothy McKelvy, MA, SPHR, Vice President, Organization Resources Development

As the Vice President of Organization Resources & Development, Dorothy McKelvy, SPHR, is responsible for Institute human resources strategy and programs, as well as facilities and fulfillment for PMI.

Dot and her staff have received several accolades for their work. In 2008 they were honored with the Philadelphia area USA Human Resources Department Of The Year Award, and previously received a similar Special Recognition Award for serving as a strategic partner to the business. And in 2004, PMI was named to the top 100 Best Places To Work in Pennsylvania. Dot was also a nominee for the Philadelphia area Human Resources Person Of the Year award.

Prior to joining PMI, Dot held a number of human resources leadership roles including Director of Human Resources for Carpenter Technology Corp., with executive human resources responsibility for their largest division with multiple sites worldwide, as well as support to acquisitions.

Dot is a certified Senior Practitioner in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resources Management, as well as an active member in that organization and the Society for Human Resources Planning.
