Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, USA – Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading not-for-profit professional association for the project management profession, announces that the International Institute for Learning Inc. (IIL) is the first organization to reach platinum status in the Institute’s Supplier Alliance Initiative program.
PMI Supplier Alliance Initiative provides project management suppliers a direct and efficient way to elevate brand awareness in the global project management community through sponsorship of PMI events and initiatives such as global congresses, professional awards, and education and networking initiatives.
IIL’s new status in the PMI Alliance Circle within the Supplier Alliance Initiative adds to its already strong and enduring relationship with PMI. Headquartered in New York City, with offices throughout the world, IIL is a global leader in project management, Microsoft® Project and Six Sigma corporate solutions, and is a PMI Chartered Global Registered Educational Provider (R.E.P.) and PMI Corporate Council member.
PMI is pleased to honor IIL with platinum status in 2006. This is just one more way IIL communicates its role as a valued member of the global project management community,” said Sandra L. Ardis, manager of Supplier Relationships.
E. LaVerne Johnson, IIL’s founder, president and chief executive officer, said, “Our partnership with PMI has been a continuing source of satisfaction during IIL’s 15-year history. It is especially rewarding to see our joint efforts pay off in the ever-increasing number of skilled project management professionals worldwide, and to look forward to the improvements they will make in business and government for years to come. We are honored to be the first to achieve PMI’s Platinum Status.”
