PMI to host OPM3 ProductSuite® Training at GOC |

PMI and DNV are adding a new PMI Certified Assessor and Consultant training course to the certification calendar.
The class which is scheduled for 23-27 June 2008 will be held at PMI’s Global Operation Center in Newtown Square, PA, USA. This is the first time PMI has hosted the certification training at the GOC. In addition to state-of-the-art training facilities students will also have the opportunity to meet with PMI leaders and participate in a tour of the facility.

OPM3 ProductSuite® is a portfolio of complementary products and services that support PMI’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3®). The more robust assessment and improvement tools in OPM3 ProductSuite® allow an organization to rigorously inspect its total project management performance.
Developed jointly by PMI and Det Norske Veritas Certification (DNV), this comprehensive maturity product offers service providers — project management assessors and consultants — the training, tools and certification knowledge needed to help organizations get the greatest value from OPM3.
DNV is the exclusive administrator of PMI Certified OPM3® Assessor and Consultant training, certification and registration. The training courses offer service providers the skills to better assess and improve an organization’s project management maturity. Upon completion of a course, an OPM3 Assessor or OPM3 Consultant certification exam is offered. Those who pass the exam become certified OPM3 Assessors or Consultants and are included in an online registry that allows organizations to find certified service providers. In addition, Certified OPM3 Assessors will be listed in the OPM3 ProductSuite® Registry as acknowledgement they have met PMI and DNV’s stringent requirements.
