Randy Black is a senior management consultant with over 30 years experience in project management, adult learning development and delivery, strategic planning, e-learning development, business process reengineering / improvement, e-business solutions development and professional services team management. He has significant expertise in several vertical markets (telecommunications, finance, pharmaceutical, government, insurance, and realty), and has a demonstrated and proven ability to successfully manage, work with and lead teams of executives, professional consultants and adult educators.
Randy is an entertaining and accomplished speaker having presented at a variety of both public and private industry events. His most recent presentations include speaking engagements with the Leadership Institute Meetings of the Project Management Institute (Denver, Colorado), the Canadian Institute Congress on Mega-Projects (Calgary, Alberta), the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Annual Professional Development Congress (Toronto, Ontario), the Region 1 Leadership Meetings of the Project Management Institute (Salem, Oregon and Pasco, Washington) and the Legal Aid Society of Alberta’s Annual Leadership Conference (Edmonton, Alberta).
Randy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Alberta Chapter of the Project Management Institute, a position he has held since July of 2004. Randy is currently the President of the Chapter and will hold this position through June of 2009.
