Committed to bringing stellar learning opportunities to individuals in the project management field, PMI holds SeminarsWorld® events throughout the year, all over the world, for beginning, mid-level and experienced project management practitioners, PMI members and nonmembers.
Seminar topics typically fall into one of five areas: core competencies, specific application areas, people and leadership skills, tools and techniques, and strategic applications. Attendees can earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) or Continuing Education Units (CEUs) while learning from thought leaders.
SeminarsWorld instructors are known for their excellent presentation skills, and all must be PMI-certified Project Management Professionals (PMP®) or have equivalent and documented knowledge in their field. These are not merely professional trainers; these are professional project managers who have a gift for presenting and training others.
Class size is limited to 30 or fewer to enhance group interaction and provide individualized learning for participants. Seminars, which take place over two, three or four days, also provide ample opportunities to meet, share and learn from peers and leaders in the field during group exercises and classroom discussions.
Each year, PMI also hosts Mega SeminarsWorld® events, which deliver all of the PMI seminars scheduled for the year during a one-week period, plus special activities such as keynote and breakfast speakers and a networking event.
