The Certification Governance Council (CGC) is an administratively independent body within PMI. The CGC identifies and supports strategic objectives specifically related to the Certification Program.

The CGC consists of PMI credential holders and one non-credentialed public member. Members are appointed by PMI’s Board of Directors. PMI's CEO and Manager of Certification Program are ex-officio, non-voting members.

Cindy McPherson, PMP, is a program manager for a large, global program at EDS.

David A. Randall, PMP, has been a project manager for 15 years and is currently running DevStream, a software development company in South Africa.

Scott G. Fass, PMP, is currently a managing director in the Global Advisory Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), LLP.

Eric Norman, PMP, PgMP, is an executive program manager for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Leonardo Fefer, PMP, is Benchmarking Leader and CR&G (Customer Retention and Growth) program coordinator for EBM EMEA.

Bill Shepherd, PgMP, has been a project manager for over 25 years and is currently managing projects to support the expansion at the Ft. McMurray Tar Sands in Northern Alberta.
