Kathleen Donohue, PMP, is an independent consultant who offers training and consulting services specializing in project management and team building. Michel Thiry, MSc, TVM, PMI Fellow, PMP, is managing partner of Valense Ltd., an International Consultancy and Education Network and Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). He works internationally as an organizational consultant and instructor and has over 30 years worldwide professional experience. He holds a master’s degree (MSc) in organizational behavior from Birkbeck College University of London, London, England, and is currently doing a PhD with University College London (UCL). He has written and lectured widely on project, program (PgM) and value management (VM) at an International level. More specifically, he authored Value Management Practice (PMI, 1997) and coauthored the "Managing Programmes of Projects” chapter in the Gower Handbook of Project Management (3rd Edition). He also coauthored the “Program Management” and “Value Management” chapters in Project Management Pathways, published by the U.K.-based Association of Project Management in early 2003, and the same chapters in The Wiley Guide to Managing Projects, published in 2004. He regularly writes and reviews for the International Journal of Project Management, is an adjunct professor for the ISGI (France) / UTS (Australia) and a lecturer at Reading University United Kingdom. Thiry has been director of PMI’s Montréal and United Kingdom chapters and president of the Value Management European Governing Board for Certification and Training.
