Leadership Institute Masters Class
This intensive yearlong leadership development program is a redesigned and expanded version of the former course known as Leadership Institute. The Masters Class offers robust training opportunities similar to those received by leaders of globally recognized companies. However, the program requires less time away from work and incurs fewer costs to participants. The number of participants is limited each year to ensure that each individual receives focused attention.
Through seminars, workshops, coaching and mentoring, you will cultivate a global network of peers and gain insight into key leadership issues and techniques to apply in professional and volunteer settings. You will learn how to take advantage of the talent of collaborative teams and gain the skills you need to help transform PMI, your organization and yourself.
By the time you graduate, you also will have a better knowledge and understanding of cultural differences and be able to apply new skills to a variety of industries, work settings and geographies.
Program Elements
Masters Class Seminars: Participants will meet three times for multi-day programs focused on practicing new leadership techniques and other key skills applicable to volunteer or work activities.
Leadership Forums: Participants will explore topics related to association governance, PMI institutional knowledge and other critical information to support their volunteer leader commitments, occurs via teleconference.
Coaching/Mentoring: Throughout the course of the program, individuals will have multiple opportunities for ongoing coaching, mentoring and support as they apply and evaluate what they have learned during the Masters Class to actual volunteer and work situations.
Who’s Eligible?
Those assessed at the Experienced Volunteer Level or higher.
