Information to Include When Submitting a Survey Link for Review
- 1. The survey, preferably in Microsoft Word format
- 2. A clear statement of what is being sought
- 3. The name and affiliation of the researcher (i.e., position, organization)
- 4. The name and affiliation of the survey sponsor
- 5. An introduction stating how your survey relates to project management, why it is being undertaken, who will benefit and how
- 6. The online URL to your survey
- 7. Proof of any required ethics clearance (if applicable)
- 8. A confidentiality statement

Steps to Posting a Survey
1. E-mail the survey and the information above as an attachment (preferably in Microsoft Word or text format) to the PMI Research Coordinator. You also may mail the information to PMI Global Operations Center, Attention PMI Research Coordinator.
2. Read the Survey Policy and the
Survey Link Agreement. Print, sign and mail the agreement to the PMI Global Operations Center, Attention PMI Research Coordinator. An electronic signature is acceptable as long as it was created from your actual handwriting.
3. The Research Manager and two members of the Research Program Member Advisory Group (Research Program Team) will evaluate the survey and inform you of any questions to answer or add to your survey before posting.
4. The link will be posted within 30 days of approval and may stay on the site for up to 60 days.
5. To save time and make sure your survey is represented the way you would like, please prepare a description of your survey to appear on Tell Us What You Think (one short paragraph) and on the PMI.org home page (very brief).
