Academic Member Advisory Group

The PMI Academic Member Advisory Group (AMAG) provides guidance and professional support for and recommendations about the array of programs and services of the PMI® Academic Resources Department, and other PMI departments and their corresponding MAGs whose programs interface with those that are relevant for the academic stakeholder community.

The AMAG is composed of scholars and research-oriented practitioners/consultants distributed across genders, academic disciplines, fields of research expertise, industry and professional roles, and PMI geographic regions.

The PMI Academic Resources Program is a catalyst for the expansion of the project management body of knowledge via its research and education programs and the enrichment of educational programs for young professionals in the field—the source of new PMI members and of leaders in effective project management.
