Don't Miss the GAC Academic Forum at PMI Global Congress 2007—EMEA in Budapest, Hungary

On Saturday, 12 May 2007, from 12:00–17:00, the GAC has planned another exciting Academic Forum to be held in conjunction with the PMI Global Congress 2007—EMEA. A key session will address the topic of “Project Management in Higher Education–Serving the Needs of Industry.” Views from both academia and the business will be presented. A panel and open discussion will follow, addressing the regional and global aspects of the discipline of project management. This interactive session will include questions and issues elicited from the audience prior to the discussion.

The GAC is also co-sponsoring a reception with PMI Research immediately following the completion of the Forum. For registration information, as well as more information about the Forum and the reception, please download the GAC Academic Forum Agenda/Registration Form.

PMI Standards – More Than Just the PMBOK® Guide!

PMI Standards address a wide range of related topics, such as earned value, configuration management, scheduling and work breakdown structure. If you are thinking of broadening the current course offerings for your project management program, consider ordering a desk copy of these Standards for review and implementation. Each academic year, educators may request one desk copy per PMI title.

For more information, please review the process for ordering desk copies from the PMI Bookstore instructions.
