How to Qualify for Special Membership:
PMI offers the following special membership opportunities:
Student Memberships: A passion for education and project management is rewarded with a discounted membership to PMI.
Eligibility: Membership is open to any student enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited or global equivalent, college or university. Applicants should provide a copy of their current course schedule or a letter from the office of the registrar verifying enrollment.

Retiree Memberships: As you enjoy your retirement and the relaxation that comes with it, keep up with the project management profession by becoming a PMI retiree member.
Eligibility: If you have been a PMI member in good standing for five consecutive years and have retired from active employment, you are eligible for retiree membership.

Group Billing: Consolidate paperwork and save on application fees when you join PMI with your coworkers. Use the PMI Group Billing Plan, a group-invoice program for individual members at the same company, to make joining even easier.
