Call for Papers, General Posters and Symposium Proposals for PMI Research and Education Conference 2010 is Now Open

Academic researchers and educators are invited to submit papers, poster and symposium proposals for presentation at the 2010 PMI Research and Education Conference.

PMI solicits proffered papers, posters and symposia proposals on any topic related to the theory and practice of project management. Submissions can be based on empirical, theoretical or methodological research, as well as on educational theory or practice strategies, curriculum design, service learning, etc.). All papers and posters will be subject to double-blind peer review by members of the global project management research community. Students are also encouraged to apply.

Submission deadline: 1 December 2009

(Please read submission guidelines before submitting)

New in 2010:

•  Download submission guidelines for proffered papers.

•  Download submission guidelines for symposia proposals.

•  Download submission guidelines for general, education and student posters.

•  The conference integrates new findings in both project management research and education.

•   In addition to student poster sessions, featured in past conferences, the 2010 meeting will include professional or open poster sessions highlighting either research or education results. Student posters will be entered in a separate student-level competition. PMI will award a prize to the best student poster.

•   The program will also include panel and presenter symposia on any research or educational topic in project management. Also invited are submissions on the concept of global sustainability as a business imperative and the role of project management in this societal enterprise. Symposia that draw participants from other disciplines (e.g. management, organizational psychology, adult education, linguistics, sociology, etc.) or from the practice community will be looked on favorably.
