When you sign in, your Username and Password are encrypted immediately using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Once your credentials are validated successfully, you will be redirected back to a non-secure "http" page to browse our web site

During your PMI.org experience, "https" security will only be applied to pages where needed such as your "My PMI" account profile and and all marketplace checkout pages, which includes the credit card payment page.
