Now available: language aids for the
CAPM® exam.

Language aids for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam are now available. PMI’s credential examinations are administered in English, and the aids provide a translation of exam questions and answers to assist candidates for whom English is a second language. The aids are available in 10 languages — Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian and Spanish. They are provided at the time the credential examination is administered and are protected under the PMI Test Security and Confidentiality Policy.

CAPM candidates who would like a language aid should indicate their need as part of the exam scheduling process. Those who have already scheduled their exam and wish to secure a language aid must reschedule the exam in accordance with the examination cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows policy outlined in the CAPM Handbook. Per the policy, candidates that do not reschedule risk forfeiting the exam fee and would accrue a re-examination fee in order to sit for the CAPM exam.

Candidates using paper forms to apply for the credential should indicate their need for a language aid as part of the application process. Please refer to the credential application, page 7.

Once the examination is scheduled, candidates should review the examination scheduling confirmation to verify that their request for a language aid has been processed.

Anyone needing assistance requesting, or confirming a request for an examination language aid should contact the PMI Customer Care team at customercare@pmi.org or by phone, +1 610-356-4600, option 8.
