PMI Research Conference 2008 Examines Value of Implementing Project Management

Janice L. Thomas, PhD and Mark Mullaly, PMP are lead investigators of a three-year research study validating the value of implementing project management. They will present findings from the study at the PMI Research Conference in Warsaw, Poland, 13-16 July 2008.

The conference, at which you can earn up to 28 Professional Development Units (PDUs), features nine thematic tracks, 58 paper presentations, daily student poster sessions and more.

Deadline to Apply for Educational Foundation Scholarships Is 30 June

The PMI Educational Foundation offers scholarships for students at accredited colleges and universities who are studying project management and related fields. The deadline to apply for scholarships has been extended to 30 June.

Scholarships are available at the bachelors, masters or doctoral level. Each scholarship has a unique set of criteria, so potential candidates should review the list of them on the Foundation’s website.
