Hone Your Project Management Skills in a Workshop Setting Let’s assume you are an experienced project manager but would like to augment your skills. If so, you can benefit from the eSeminarsWorldSM course, Essential Skills for Managing Projects, in which you will practice interactive project management techniques in an online team environment. This intensive course addresses all the necessary skills for planning and managing projects of all types and sizes. You will take part in one of three case studies in an online team environment.
The course will help you understand concepts such as project scope, scope boundaries and life cycle phases. You will create interim deliverables for your project, determine a structure for your project and create a work breakdown structure. Learn valuable information about assurance – how to make sure customers are satisfied at a project’s end – and team composition in relation to skills. Find out how to meet a schedule milestone, which is a significant event in the project, usually completion of a major deliverable. Discuss staffing and spending requirements for your project before you complete the project plan. Then it will be time to execute the project. You will shift gears to monitor progress, manage change, and report status. After execution, you will find out how the team did and make some recommendations for improvement. It’s a learning process. To find out more, register for Essential Skills for Managing Projects, with expert instructor Kathleen Donohue. This eSeminarsWorld course runs from 15-29 May. The registration deadline is Wednesday, 14 May.
