Sponsored Research Proposals Invited through 25 May

The PMI® Research Program works to advance the science and profession of project management. Research proposals are requested from scholars in project management and disciplines such as management, organizational psychology, education, sociology and more.

Proposed research should have direct application to any aspect of the project management body of knowledge or its practice.

We encourage proposals for research that involves multi-disciplinary teams of scholars, or teams that consist of academics and practitioners.

Teams who can potentially bring new ways of thinking and related bodies of literature to the field are also encouraged.

We’ll accept preliminary proposals until Monday, 25 May. Those who advance to the second round will be notified by 10 July.

Awards up to US$50,000 will be announced in October 2009.

Please see detailed information on the RFP timeline, application process and submission guidelines.
