The new CCR System
implemented on 25 August 2009 is in full
operation.
As a reminder, PMI is
asking that R.E.P. representatives
create their own unique username and
password on PMI.org if they have not
done so already so they may access the
newly enhanced CCR system (formerly the
R.E.P. Administrative Update Site).
When you register (by
clicking on the Become a Provider
Representative link in the green column
on the left-hand side), you will be
prompted initially to give your training
organizations R.E.P. ID and password to
enter the system so it is linked to
PMI.org. You will only need to do this
once.
http://sparky.occe.ou.edu/pmi/REPlogin.cfm
can no longer be used to register
activities.
The new CCR system on
PMI.org is at the following link:
https://www.pmi.org/ccrs/.
R.E.P.s have online
abilities to do the following:
Create and register a
new Provider Activity/Course Description
Form
Request a PMP
credential holder sign-off
View a transcript of
all of your R.E.P. organization's
registered courses
Post a course
advertisement on the Provider Listing
page
Retire a course
Submit batch PDU
claims
Please note the
following about CCRS and Specialty
Credential PDUs:
1. Will credential
holders still have to manually track any
PDUs earned for the PMI-SP
or PMI-RMP credentials?
No. The new system
provides online PDU reporting for all
PMI credentials that are included in the
CCR program. Credential holders will use
CCRS to claim all PDUs earned towards
the PMP, PgMP,
PMI-SP or PMI-RMP
credentials.
2. Can the PDUs for
an activity applicable to a PMI-SP
credential and a PMI-RMP credential
equal the number of PDUs for PMP/PgMP
credentials?
Since the PMI-SP and
PMI-RMP credentials are two separate
credentials with specialty areas of
focus, it is not possible for the PDUs
awarded for both credentials to be equal
to the full amount of PDUs awarded
overall.
The number of PDUs
applicable to the PMP/PgMP credentials
is relevant to general project
management.
3. How do credential
holders claim PDU activities?
Participants are able to
submit a provider ID and activity/course
code under two separate categories to
locate and to claim PDUs accordingly.
The
http://rep.pmi.bluestep.net/
link is for the R.E.P. Community
Site only. This remains unaffected by
the new CCR system.
An FAQs document and new
system screenshots with CCRS User Guide
are posted on the
R.E.P. Community Site for
additional assistance. |
