Browser Support for PMI.org

New web browsers are quickly embracing more web standards and new capabilities. The PMI.org development team will be focusing efforts to utilize these new features, while maintaining a support strategy for older versions of these browsers that are still in common use by PMI.org visitors.

You may find that some applications may not work properly in older browsers or the presentation of pages on PMI.org may vary by browser type and version.

Report an issue

When reporting an issue with PMI.org on any web browser to Customer Care, email customercare@pmi.org with as much information as possible, such as:

  • Screen capture of your browser showing the error
  • Web browser name and version number you are using:  ex. Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3.6.12
  • Your computer’s operating system: ex. Windows XP, Vista, or 7, Mac OSX 10.6.5

Current Browser Support:

PMI.org content pages and web applications will be tested with browsers most commonly used by PMI.org visitors. As new browser versions are released and achieve significant usage on PMI.org, this list will be updated to include them:

Internet Explorer 7+

Mozilla Firefox 4.0+

Google Chrome 11.0+

Apple Safari 5.0+

Opera 11.1+

Legacy Browser Support:

PMI will focus on supporting the following web browsers for specific web application functionality issues reported to Customer Care. Issues will be evaluated for level of impact on the user experience and other technical concerns.

Technical evaluations will be made for functionality issues with:

Internet Explorer 6

Mozilla Firefox 2+

Google Chrome 10+

Apple Safari 4+

Opera 9.5+
