New PDU Opportunity—Share your Knowledge in the Virtual Library

PMI’s Virtual Library seeks to post your articles for professional development units (PDUs). The Virtual Library aims to be the premier online source for project management knowledge and information to help professionals and organizations advance the practice of project management.

Do you want to tell the community about a career-defining project you completed? Perhaps your organization has really coherent project practices across global divisions. The Virtual Library could be your platform. A team of volunteers along with PMI staff review the articles for clarity and relevance before posting them.

Authors whose articles are posted on the Virtual Library may claim 15 PDUs under Category 2B. For accepted articles with more than one author, each co-author may claim 10 PDUs. In order to be eligible for PDUs, articles must be at least the length of a magazine feature article (1,500 words or more).

The project community is looking forward to reading your submissions. Please visit the Virtual Library to download the author’s guidelines and submission forms. If you have any questions, please contact Virtual.Library@pmi.org.

PMI also seeks a group of volunteers who can help evaluate Virtual Library submissions. Accepted volunteers should commit to reading six to 10 papers per month, rating them according to pre-set criteria, and returning them in a timely manner.

If you are interested, please visit Volunteer Opportunities. Volunteers can earn up to five PDUs per year for their activities.
