The PMI Examination Score Reports Get a New Look

All PMI credential examination score reports have a new look that provides candidates with a better measurement of their knowledge.

As with the previous score report, candidates receive the overall examination results that provide pass/fail status.

The new score reports list each domain with one of three possible proficiency levels-Proficient, Moderately Proficient and Below Proficient.

Proficient - indicates performance that is above the average level of knowledge in this domain

Moderately Proficient - indicates performance that is at the average level of knowledge in this domain

Below Proficient - indicates performance that is below the average level of knowledge in this domain

In order to better align with global best practices in exam administration, PMI now provides candidates with important diagnostic information related to proficiency levels. The proficiency levels help candidates measure their knowledge in specific areas of study and practice.

There have been no other changes to examination practices, scoring, or the score standard. Those who receive the new score report will be evaluated the same way as those who received the old score report were.

Q: How do I report PDUs online?

When you go online to PMI/CCR Records you will be prompted to enter three codes to gain access to your online transcripts.

  1. PMI ID - which you received when you became a member or when you received your credential certificate.
  2. PMP # - which you received on your credential certificate.
  3. Password - which is the first four letters of your last name (not including apostrophes, hyphens or spaces)

Q: I just earned my PMP credential. How soon can I report PDUs?

Although PMI advises credential holders to report PDUs as soon as they earn them, if you have just been bestowed the credential, it may take two to three weeks for PMI's certification database to transfer them into the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) database.

PMP credential holders can submit their PDU claims in a several ways:

PMI/CCR Records
College of Continuing Education
1700 Asp Avenue
Norman, OK 73072-6400 USA

Q: I entered my PDUs online using the Activity Reporting form. When can I expect to see those PDUs reflected on my transcript?

Please note that it takes approximately three weeks for PDUs to post to your transcript. If you have difficulty accessing your certification record, contact our Customer Care Team at customercare@pmi.org.
