PMI Coastal Bend Chapter

Scholarship Criteria

The PMI Coastal Bend Chapter is offering an academic scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  In order to be considered eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited academic degree program in project management or a related field benefitting from project management, with the following order of priority:

  1. A member of the PMI Coastal Bend Chapter or a member of their immediate family attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in any location. An immediate family member includes a spouse, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. 
  2. An individual attending or planning to attend an accredited college of university in South Texas (South Texas is defined as from San Antonio and all southern locations from the Rio Grande River to the Gulf of Mexico).
  3. If there are no qualified candidates fulfilling one of the above priorities, an individual attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in Texas.
