PMI Alaska Chapter Scholarship

Criteria

The PMI Alaska Chapter aims to promote project management professionalism and serve the professional, education, and networking needs of its members and the residents of Alaska interested in project management. In this endeavor, it has created an endowed fund to support at least one annual academic scholarship per year. As the fund grows over several years, additional scholarships may be added or the amount of the annual scholarship may grow.

Beginning in 2012, annual scholarship(s) will be awarded in the minimum amount of US$1,000 but may be more depending on the interest earned on the endowed fund throughout the year. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited undergraduate, graduate or doctoral academic degree program in project management or a related field benefitting from project management with the following order of priority:

1st Priority: A member of the PMI Alaska Chapter who is a resident of Alaska attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.

2nd Priority: Any individual residing in Alaska who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.
