Criteria
The PMI San Diego Chapter is sponsoring this annual professional development scholarship to assist project managers who wish to attend continuing education courses. Up to US$1,000 will be awarded in whole or in part to one or more individuals per year. The recipient(s) selected will need to provide proof of registration and payment and will be reimbursed by the amount they have been awarded. Courses include classroom courses or on-line courses and will be awarded in the following order of priority:
1st Priority: A member of the PMI San Diego Chapter or an immediate family member (including spouse, step children and grandchildren but not cousins, aunts or uncles) planning to attend a course provided by a PMI Registered Education Provider (REP) and specify that course on the scholarship application form.
2nd Priority: A member of the PMI San Diego Chapter or an immediate family member (including spouse, step children and grandchildren but not cousins, aunts or uncles) planning to attend a project management course by any provider, including colleges or university extension programs.
If no chapter member applies, applicants in the 3rd priority will be considered;
3rd Priority: Individuals who are project managers living or working within San Diego County planning to attend a project management course by any provider including colleges or university extension programs.
