The PMIEF Academic Scholarship Program of UMT

Admission Requirements

In order to be considered eligible for the PMIEF Academic Scholarship Program of UMT, each applicant must meet the general admission requirements of UMT and must meet all the existing admission requirements for each UMT academic program. All tasks outlined below, including submission of the Online Application Form and payment of all fees, will be done through UMT after the candidate has been selected for a scholarship.

 

Admission Requirements - Bachelors Degree

Admission Requirements

You need to submit these materials to complete the UMT application process:

  • Online Application Form
  • A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 (to pay online, click here);
  • A non-refundable credit transfer evaluation fee of $30.00 (to pay online, click here);
  • Official documentation of having completed high school or having passed the G.E.D. (ABA program applicants)
  • Official transcripts showing all college course work, if applying for the Bachelor’s degree program or requesting transfer credit
  • Three Recommendation and Reference Forms (optional)
  • A current resume
  • Official standardized test scores, such as the SAT (optional)
  • TOEFL scores are required for students for whom English is not their native language. Minimum scores of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) are required for applicants to the MS and MBA programs. UMT's Institution Code is 7853.
  • Financial Certificate for International Applicants Requiring Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 to study in the United States as a full-time student.

Additional Requirements

  • Any original transcripts that are not in English must be accompanied by a certified (notarized) English translation.

  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Three Recommendation and Reference Forms
  • A current resume
  • Official GMAT test scores (optional). UMT's Institute Codes are: Full-Time MBA: XVM-MN-64 and Part-Time MBA: XVM-MN-23
  • Official GRE test scores (optional). UMT's Institution Code is 5592.
  • TOEFL scores are required for students for whom English is not their native language. Minimum scores of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) are required for applicants to the MS and MBA programs. UMT's Institution Code is 7853
  • Financial Certificate for International Applicants Requiring Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 to study in the United States as a full-time student.

Admission Requirements - Doctor of Business Administration

You need to submit these materials to complete the UMT application process:

  • Online Application Form;
  • A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 (to pay online, click here);
  • A non-refundable credit transfer evaluation fee of $30.00 (to pay online, click here);
  • Unofficial undergraduate transcripts (these may be copies);
  • Official graduate transcripts sent directly from the accredited institution(s) where coursework was completed;
  • Three Recommendation and Reference Forms or letters of reference sent directly from the referees; these can be from supervisors and/or peers but should clearly state type and duration of association with you;
  • A current resume listing professional and academic background; please include membership in professional organizations, conferences attended, certificates earned, and publications if applicable;
  • A one-page essay describing your professional and academic accomplishments and objectives, and how a DBA program would help you further your career goals and enrich your life.

Additional Requirements

  • Any original transcripts from post-secondary institutions which are not in English must be accompanied by a certified (notarized) English translation.
  • TOEFL scores earned within the past 36 months are required for students for whom English is not their native language. Minimum scores of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) are required. UMT's Institution Code is 7853.
  • An interview may be required, but is not necessary to submit an application.

Optional

  • Official GRE test scores. UMT's Institution Code is 5592.
  • Official GMAT test scores. UMT's Institution Codes is XVM-MN-64.
