The PMIEF Academic Scholarship Program of UMT

Scholarship Guidelines

Eligibility

In order to be considered eligible for each scholarship, each applicant must meet the general admission requirements of UMT and must meet all of the existing admission requirements for each UMT academic program eligible for a PMIEF scholarship.

The following categories of individuals are not eligible for these scholarships

  • Current UMT students
  • Individuals admitted to UMT but not yet attending UMT
  • Recipients of other UMT academic scholarships
  • Recipients of another PMIEF academic scholarship for the same academic year

Inclusions and Exclusions

The UMT scholarships are intended to include only the total or partial cost of tuition for each relevant academic degree program. All other costs related to participating in an academic degree program at UMT through these scholarships are the accountability of the student. These exclusions include, but are not limited to, such costs as books and materials, computer and other online participation technology, costs related to logging into and participating in online classes, and travel and lodging related to any reason for being physically on campus.

Application Process

Potential candidates should apply for the scholarship before applying for admission to UMT.  If selected for a PMIEF scholarship at UMT, the candidate will be notified by PMIEF and then will be contacted subsequently by a UMT admissions office representative who will facilitate his/her application to the desired degree program.

Candidates are urged to review the UMT admission requirements before applying for a PMIEF scholarship donated by UMT to make sure he/she is eligible to be accepted into a UMT degree program.
