Bryan R.A. McConachy, P. Eng., PMP

A PMI member since 1980, Mr. McConachy served two terms as the PMI West Coast British Columbia Chapter President (now Canadian West Coast Chapter) for which he was recognized as one of PMI's Outstanding Chapter Presidents in both 1983 and 1984. He continued to serve on the Chapter Advisory Board for several years. As a participant of PMI’s Council of Chapter Presidents, he became involved with the process of regionalizing PMI Chapters. In 1986, he was honored with PMI's Distinguished Contribution Award for his ongoing service to both his Chapter and the overall PMI organization. He served 10 years as Chair of the Steering Group for the PMI 1994 Seminars & Symposium which was hosted by his Vancouver-based chapter. He continued his PMI activity as a member of the leadership team for the Design/Procurement/Construction Specific Interest Group (SIG) and led the SIG team that developed the Certificate of Additional Qualifications (CAQ) for Capital Projects. As principal of Bramcon Project Consultants, he continues to provide advisory services to owners of capital projects in the infrastructure and industrial sectors.
