David H. Curling, B. Eng., P. Eng., PMP

A member of PMI since 1977, Mr. Curling was a founding member of the PMI Ottawa Valley Chapter in 1985 and served as its President from 1985 to 1987. He was a presenter and moderator for PMI Seminars & Symposia in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and Denver, Colorado, USA. He wrote the initial draft for the Project Procurement Section of PMI's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). In 1996 he was appointed PMI Canada Vice President for International Relations and a delegate to the Global Project Management Forum in Paris, France. He was also a PMI Project of the Year Award judge and chaired the Global Project Management Track at PMI 1999 Seminars & Symposium.
