Eugene C. Bounds, CSM, PMP, PMI Fellow

Eugene C. Bounds has nearly three decades of active PMI service at the chapter, task-team and global Board levels. He is an avid sponsor of advancing project management to corporate and executive leaders Mr. Bounds, has impacted the elevation and maturation of the project management profession. He has made significant contributions on a global scale to the project management profession in business, the U.S. Air Force, and in service to PMI. At the Software Engineering Institute, Mr. Bounds introduced project management practices as a major component of their SEI Capability Maturity Model for software development processes. This foundational best practice continues to be used by Global 1000 companies today. He has also served in leadership roles within the PMI Board of Directors as chair, affirming the required skills and background for future Board members and in defining governance of the PMI strategic planning process.
