Iain Fraser is currently a consultant, thought-leader and an author/speaker. He is a former CEO of Project Plus Ltd., an organization that provides management services across many industries and sectors globally. With over 30 years of experience across portfolio, program and project management, he has been an instrumental contributor to PMI since 1993. During his PMI tenure, Mr. Fraser served as a founding member, vice president and president of the PMI New Zealand Chapter. In 1997, he was one of only 65 delegates selected for the Future Infrastructure and Governance workshop in Dallas, Texas, USA, which determined PMI's current global bylaws. He also has served as a member and chair of the PMI Board of Directors Nomination Committee; the PMI Director of Regional Advocacy for eight countries in the Asia Pacific Region; a PMI Board member and Chair; and a director and member of PMI's External Relations and Volunteer Involvement (ERVI) sub-committee, among other roles. Recently he has been involved in special project teams and as a subject matter expert for standards review. Mr. Fraser continues to present regularly on various topics at conferences, business forums and component meetings around the world. He also is a member of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand; a member of the GlobalScot network; a notable figure in the International Who's Who of Professionals; and a board member of several private organizations.
