Jean-Claude Dravet

Jean-Claude Dravet, PMP®, has been a member of PMI and PMP Certified since 1998. During the 49 years of his Project Management professional life, he spent 32 years with IBM, moving up to Executive Portfolio Manager. During the next 17 years, he delivered PM training to thousands of Professionals and students. Over the last 25 years he has been deeply engaged in PMI, creating two Chapters and served as Chapter President, then Honorary President. He also has been Local Sponsor of 2 PMI EMEA Congress (Cannes, 2002) and Marseille, 2012) and served as PMI EMEA Regional Mentor during two years. Mr. Dravet managed the PMI France Chapter membership growth, moving that Chapter to the TOP 5 largest worldwide Chapters. He received more than 10 PMI Awards, out of which 3 “Best Chapter Of the Year” and a “PMI Chair citation.” He shared his Chapter experience in more than 10 PMI LIMs (US and EMEA), and he has been a Member of several PMI committees. He created an annual Project Management JOB FAIR to connect NextGen with companies and help them to get a job. He published articles in PMI Newsletters and Magazines, and organized several PM Webinars. He was Co-author of a collaborative book about Transformational Leadership.
For him, Project Management is a Mandatory Knowledge that should be part of all Master Curriculum to improve drastically chances of success.
He is considering this PMI Fellow Award as a recognition to the 25 years dedicated to PMI, PMI EMEA, and PMI France to deploy Project Management and PMI inside Associations, Companies and Universities. Mr. Dravet has received the following awards:
- Certified IBM Global Executive Project Manager with PMP® as a prerequisite
- IBM France National Quality Award
- IBM Global PMCOE Award (Project Management Center Of Excellence)
