Julie M. Wilson, PMP

Julie Wilson served as practice executive and principal for IBM Services' Global Technology Services before retiring in 2015. Prior to joining IBM, Wilson's affiliations included Lincoln Financial Group, County of Fresno, Pacific Life Insurance, AT&T and Vanstar Corporation. In addition to being an IBM Board Certified Executive Project Manager, she is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI). She earned her bachelor's degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix following undergraduate studies at Indiana and Purdue universities. Ms. Wilson is a founding member of the PMI Orange County Chapter and has served in various positions, including chapter president. She was inducted as a PMI Orange County Chapter Fellow in 1996. Ms. Wilson also supported this chapter by sitting on the Program Advisory Committee for Project Management at University of California Irvine. She served for six years on the PMI Board of Directors and co-founded and was chair of the former PMI Information Systems Specific Interest Group (SIG), proposing that the PMI Board officially recognize SIGs.
