Roger B. Glaser, PhD

Dr. Glaser was active in PMI since 1982 and founded the PMI San Diego Chapter in 1986. He was its President for two years. At the 1986 PMI Seminars & Symposia he assembled attendees from the utility industry to share information and experiences, resulting in the PMI Utility Industry Specific Interest Group (SIG). He was also instrumental in founding the Women in Project Management SIG. A co-project manager of the first PMI Academic Forum in 1987, he received PMI's Distinguished Contribution Award in 1988 and was Chair of PMI's Board of Directors in 1996 and President in 1995.
