Saralee Newell, PMP

Saralee Newell was in charge of marketing and administration for PSM Consulting Services, a project management training and consulting firm. Newell had been a member of PMI since 1989, and helped found the Greater New Orleans, Louisiana, USA PMI Chapter in 1990 as one of only five PMI members across the state of Louisiana, serving as Chapter President for two years. She was project manager for the PMI '95 "Communicating With Jazz" seminar/symposium, held in New Orleans, and was deputy project manager for the first Global Project Management Forum (GPMF) in 1995. She has since participated in a number of GPMFs around the world, and served on the GPMF Steering Committee. She was awarded the Distinguished Contribution Award in 1996 and served as a PMI Board Member from 1997 to 1999.
