Lissa Muncer is a passionate strategic project management and transformation leader and practitioner. She has lived and worked in numerous countries leading global, complex transformations for the past 20 years. She has spoken at conferences around the world and is a panelist and keynote speaker on successful strategic transformations.

Her greatest professional achievements have been leading transformations at companies such as Natura & Co, Vodafone and Unilever, where she had the responsibility of ensuring strategic execution and sustainable transformation, as well as empowering people and promoting a positive work-life balance. This has been accomplished through the creation of strategic project management offices, solid change management capability and board-level stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

Mrs. Muncer has held extensive leadership positions, including the executive board of Project Management South Africa (PMSA), leading the KwaZulu Natal Chapter in South Africa and the former PMI Technology Advisory Group. She is currently serving on the PMI Ethics Insight Team. Her mission on the PMI Board of Directors will be to increase the value of successful transformation at the C-suite level (raising the importance of the chief transformation officer role); advocate for the inclusion of the aging executive population; combat burnout in the workplace by building resilience; and drive value by balancing profit with both the planet and people.

Mrs. Muncer holds a master’s degree in environmental science as well as Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)®, Project Management Professional (PMP)® and SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management certifications. She has completed PMI Organizational Transformation: Foundation and Wicked Problem-Solving® courses. She is also a Business Coach.

Mrs. Muncer lives in the United Kingdom with her husband and is active in squash, tennis, swimming and nature walking. She enjoys photography, baking and being involved in her local community.
