Michael DePrisco, Vice President, Academic and Educational Programs
Michael DePrisco serves as PMI's Vice President, Global Membership and Chapters. He joined PMI in 2013, and brings nearly 20 years of senior leadership experience within various facets of the educational and operations management arena. In his role, Mr. DePrisco provides executive oversight to the Global Membership and Chapter Development group that supports PMI's global membership of 475,000 members from over 200 countries. Mr. DePrisco also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the PMI Educational Foundation, a charitable nonprofit organization that delivers financial and educational resources to strengthen the teaching and learning of project management. Mr. DePrisco joined PMI as Vice President, Academic and Educational Programs, where he was responsible for the overall leadership, planning and oversight of PMI's academic markets, as well as educational programs and services. He provided executive oversight to The Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC), research and curriculum development and academic outreach initiatives designed to align chapters, volunteers and academic stakeholders in advancing the discipline of project and program management within colleges and universities around the world. Prior to joining PMI, Mr. DePrisco worked in higher education administration for 20 years, serving as president of several art and design colleges across the United States. Mr. DePrisco was tasked with executing the strategic plans of the college that ensured integration and alignment of key initiatives and priorities. He provided executive oversight to the development and growth of the campus including student acquisition and retention, program development, financial management and stakeholder relationships. He is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania (West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States) with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Master's of Science in Higher Education Administration and Counseling.
