Lynn A. Keeys
Lynn A. Keeys, Ph.D., MA, PMP, has served on the Board of Directors of Project Management Institute since 2023. She is a long-time PMI volunteer and past president of the PMI chapter in South Africa.
Dr. Keeys is an adjunct professor of Project Management at SKEMA Business School, France and taught Project Management for Competitive Advantage. She is also a visiting research fellow at Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria. She is a “prac-academic” with three decades of both practitioner and academic experience. A former United States diplomat with the US Agency for International Development, she worked in portfolio, program, project management (PPPM), project design and development, strategy, and organizational leadership in the international/sustainable development field, successfully leading multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multisectoral teams.
She is an experienced speaker and author on project management, strategy, value creation, innovation, and sustainability. She is a guest editor for project management journal collections, and she is a reviewer and serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Project Management.
Dr. Keeys holds a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, and Film from Temple University, USA, a master’s degree in International Development from American University, USA, and a doctorate in Strategy, Program, and Project Management from SKEMA Business School, France. She holds Master Certificates in Applied Project Management and Organizational Leadership, both from Villanova University, USA, and a Certificate in Innovation and Strategy from Harvard University, USA.
