Vanina Mangano, AML, PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, has served on the Board of Directors of Project Management Institute since 2023, and has volunteered with PMI for more than 15 years.

As senior manager, Engineering Program Management, Mangano leads a team of program managers within YouTube’s Trust and Safety organization. She has nearly two decades of experience leading project management offices (PMOs) across multiple industries and companies, such as NBC Universal, Microsoft and Google. Her experience spans startups to multibillion-dollar portfolios.

She is the author of the “PMP® Project Management Professional Exam Review Guide”, “PMP® Project Management Professional Practice Tests,” and several other project-management-related books and articles.

Mangano holds a master’s degree in Strategic Management from Harvard University, USA, and bachelor’s degrees in History and English from the University of California, Riverside, USA.
