PMI and AUF Collaborate to Raise the Profile of Project Management Among the French-Speaking Scientific Community

Project Management Institute (PMI), the leading global organization  of project management professionals, has teamed up  with leading international university group, Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), to bring the latest best practices, teaching methods and research into project management to the French-speaking scientific community.

The agreement, signed by AUF Rector, Prof. Slim Khalbous, and Pierre Le Manh, President and CEO of PMI will focus on areas of key interest to both parties, including:

  1. Raising awareness, promoting and sharing knowledge of project management skills with students and young entrepreneurs to ensure they have the skills needed to succeed in today’s economy. Students at AUF member institutions will benefit from training, certification and educational resources in project management through Francophone Employability Centers.
  2. Promoting teaching techniques and research into project management through certification, training of trainers, networking, knowledge and resource sharing, funding of collaborative research and encouraging the publication of project management in science papers in French.
