Earthquake in Türkiye & Syria
An Update to Our Global Community

Quick Links
Earthquake in Türkiye & Syria
The PMI community is shocked and saddened by the suffering and loss of life experienced by the people of Türkiye and Syria. This devastating earthquake has impacted so many, and the harsh winter brings further hardship. To assist those impacted, we are donating to a locally active NGO partner.
Our Europe team is in close contact with our volunteer community, supporting the chapter leaders coordinating relief efforts. We are preparing activities that will give our global community opportunities to apply their project management skills for social impact.
PMI Chapters in Action
PMI chapters have been meeting and planning relief activities that will continue to help Earthquake victims and make long lasting impacts. Here are some examples of the great work they have mobilized so far. More activities are being planned so check back for updates and join us in making donations.
UK Chapter – Hosting a PM4TheWorld 24-hour virtual conference on 29 March to raise funds for CARE International.
Ukraine Chapter – Hosting a Talk Around the Clock on 14 April to raise funds for UNICEF.
Project Managers in Action
Together we can make a difference!
During these difficult times, we are reminded of what it truly means to be a part of a global community and we want to share that with the world. Thanks to the Hours for Impact program, we’re able to collect your stories including permission to us any images or videos submitted so that select stories can be shared on the Times of Need pages and in social media. If you have a story to share, be sure you submit it through the Hours for Impact Pledge form.
