The transformation workstream to redefine PMI’s membership model kicked off in Q4 2018. Working together with a number of industry-leading consulting partners, PMI created a multifaceted testing plan to capture market feedback on prioritized concepts related to career guidance, bite-sized learning and short-term experiential learning. The team launched multiple tests to market and continually pivoted in order to (1) refine value propositions, language and features and (2) best understand how to craft an overall membership model concept for seasoned project management professionals, as well as those who are newer to the profession.
As part of PMI’s commitment to helping our members and stakeholders develop their careers, PMI upgraded its Job Board platform in Q2 2018. This platform provides a better user experience for job seekers as well as employers, providing an easy-to-use, self-service interface. It also allows for international postings and can conduct transactions in local currencies.
