Now a message from our PMIWDC Board/CEO, Uma Hiremagalur
PMIWDC has been striving hard to curate events and content to support your professional development, the key reason for existence of chapters. From monthly chapter events, networking events, membership orientation, mentor protege program and the popular University Project Management Talks! We are continuously looking to improve our offerings so your feedback is important.
Connecting and building together is more important than ever. We are committed to our Local Communities that make our events accessible to those at a greater distance geographically from our monthly chapter events. Additionally, we are excited to continue amplifying the Community's of Practice (COPs) - Cybersecurity, Women in Project Management, AI, and Construction.
Finally, we look forward to empowering the next generation of project managers. We look forward to hosting the Youth Leadership Summit, quarterly University Project Management Talks, Youth Entrepreneur Pitch Contest, scholarships, and many more engagements. It is important that we continue to support the PMI Education Foundation's mission: “Youth to reach their potential and transform their lives through project management.”
Projects have the power to make a better world! As the world is pivoting from the pandemic back to a new normalcy; We need to rise to action and give back making an impact in the community we live in.
So many opportunities to give back! I invite you to lean in and become an active volunteer. Let's make the PMIWDC chapter a thriving community!
Let's Connect, Ignite, and Collaborate Together!
