Who We are?
The PMI Ethiopia Chapter will cover all Region of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and provide project managers with valuable opportunities to network and develop project management competencies. Ethiopia is a resource rich and one of the populous country in the Horn of Africa which has a great potential to investment and trade.
This young chapter has ambitious plans that will provide value to project managers and help develop the profession of project management in Ethiopia. The PMI Ethiopia Chapter Steering Committee has worked tirelessly to get to this point and has now transitioned into an interim Board of Directors which will begin the implementation process. The PMI Ethiopia Chapter is on the process for local registration as a non-profit organization in Ethiopia. PMI Ethiopia Chapter is the local representative of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Mission
Providing support and applying engagement in the field of continuous education and self-improvement for current and future project managers in Ethiopia while promoting the community of the PMI Ethiopia Chapter to make it nurture and advance.
Goals
Our goal is to advance the practice, science and profession of project management throughout the local Ethiopian community in a diligent and practical manner so that organizations will embrace, value and utilize project management and then attribute their successes to it.
