Get Involved

Learn the importance of effective project management with Wale Elegbede

Why Be Involved?

Volunteering your time and leadership skills in committees can be a very rewarding experience. Members find personal satisfaction in sharing their life experiences to help others solve problems, grow, and succeed. Benefit on your own career path as you learn alongside members who have much to share with you, too.

Interested in Getting Involved?

What’s in it for me? Are you looking to earn PDUs or to expand your project management experience? Members and non-members are invited to become active participants in the PMI La Crosse – Rochester Chapter by becoming a volunteer. Volunteer opportunities vary, as do the time commitment and skills required for each opportunity. There’s a volunteer opportunity to fit everyone’s busy schedule and interests! At the end of the volunteer’s service year, all Directors will be formally recognized for the term of service and presented with a certificate and formal mention. Where may I learn more or apply for a role?  Send an inquiry to Erin Logan, our Director of Volunteers at [email protected]. You will be contacted to determine if the opportunity is a good fit based on your availability, experience, education, and/or interest.

Want to Give Back to the Community?

Engage your PMI Educational Foundation liaison! Liaisons are local volunteers who are specifically appointed by chapter leaders to design and promote social good events, including those required to serve community needs detected by chapter board members. Find out more at PMIEF.
