Volunteering has a range of benefits. Here are 8 reasons why you should volunteer in your community.
Interested in Getting Involved?
What’s in it for me? Are you looking to earn PDUs or to expand your project management experience? Members and non-members are invited to become active participants in the PMI La Crosse – Rochester Chapter by becoming a volunteer. Volunteer opportunities vary, as do the time commitment and skills required for each opportunity. There’s a volunteer opportunity to fit everyone’s busy schedule and interests! At the end of the volunteer’s service year, all Directors will be formally recognized for the term of service and presented with a certificate and formal mention.
Where may I learn more or apply for a role? Contact Romeo Agazuma, Director of Volunteers at [email protected]. We will contact you to discuss opportunities that might interest you and highlight your skills.
Want to Give Back to the Community?
Engage your PMI Educational Foundation liaison! Liaisons are local volunteers who are specifically appointed by chapter leaders to design and promote social good events, including those required to serve community needs detected by chapter board members. Find out more at PMIEF.
