About the Speaker: Andre Zein
André has started his own business (TechnOrion) in Lebanon early 2012, following 24 years of employment in the I.T. field in various geographies. His last employment was for over 12 years at EJADA Systems Ltd (Middle-East). where he held the position of e-Business Division Director, appointed in October 1999 and had the responsibility for EJADA’s e-Business and software integration practice; he has managed over 45 professionals in Riyadh and Cairo. He was best acknowledged for his business analysis, software architecture and software modeling skills. He successfully delivered with his team a wide range of systems integration projects.
Carrying his expertise in relational databases, he joined Ingres Ltd. in London as a product manager and senior consultant. Following the acquisition of Ingres by “Computer Associates” he was relocated to the CA head office in New York as Manager for International Distributors and product manager. His main focus was the Middle-Eastern, North-African and South European countries for three years. André was asked later to re-join his previous employer in Abu Dhabi as Manager of Systems Integration and remained there for another five years. His recent focus has been the banking and finance software solutions, systems integration and e-Business. He is a graduate from USJ and one of the founding members of the Lebanese IT Syndicate.
