The PMI Lebanon Chapter is glad to announce the launch of virtual professional development series for two days (26th and 28th of July).

The Virtual Professional Development Series: Project Management from Different Angles is designed to provide you with tools, techniques and methodologies in project management. You will learn about the most recent and up to date project management technologies and you will also be introduced to the latest trends and tools.

About the four PDD International Speakers

Lee R. Lambert


Lee R. Lambert is a management consultant and has been active in project management for over 55 years. He has held senior level corporate positions with General Electric and Battelle Memorial Institute before embarking on his current consulting role. He has provided services to a who’s who in industry, including IBM, Motorola, AT&T, Roche and many more. He has been a PMI member for over 44 years and was one of the Founders of the PMP. His work on the training platform has reached over 50,000 professionals in 23 countries. His motto is; It’s Project Management – Not Brain Surgery!!

Lee is a big sports fan and served as Sports Writer for a major daily newspaper in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sports Editor for a Weekly newspaper in Worthington, Ohio. He covered all major sports in California including baseball, football and soccer and became friends with many of the professional athletes.


Dr. Michael O'Connor is a Senior Research Program Director, Program Management with Medtronic. He has over 36 years of professional experience and 32 years of professional experience in the Medical Device Industry. O'Connor received his B.A. and minor in Project Management from Metropolitan State University. He holds Graduate degrees in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, Technology Management from the University of St. Thomas, and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. O'Connor earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, majoring in Project Management, from the University of Maryland, College Park, A. James School of Engineering. He was selected as an American Society for Quality (ASQ), Quality Fellow and selected as a Medtronic, Technical Fellow a Biomedical Engineering Society Fellow, an American Society for Quality Fellow, an Association for Project Management Fellow, and an American Academy of Project Management Fellow. He is a currently and a former Director at Large for the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) and has volunteered his time with many Professional Societies and Universities/Colleges over the past 19 years. In addition to Medtronic, his corporate experience also includes 3M and Pfizer.

By day, Mei connects Project teams to deliver value. By heart, she fuels positivity and kindness to inspire leaders to do more and serve.

Mei Lin was born and raised in Taiwan, where she received dual bachelor's degrees in Law and Social Work from National Taipei University. In 2008 emigrated to the United States and attended Texas A&M University-Commerce and received an MBA. As a project manager and the Past President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) - Dallas Chapter, Mei views herself as a servant leader who builds collaborative teams while focusing on delivering value and culture transformation for organizations.

Mei currently works as Sr. Business Program Manager with Microsoft Area of Transformation Office.

The author of the “Mommy is a Project Manager” wishes to eliminate gender bias in the female profession. The children’s book references the PMBOK knowledge areas and how they are applied at work and home for all future change-makers to understand what Project Management is.


Carole Osterweil is a project troubleshooter and executive coach who’s on a mission - to bring an understanding of how the human brain works to the world of project management and business transformation.

She’s also the author of the new book Neuroscience for Project Success: why people behave as they do, published by the Association for Project Management.

Carole’s pioneering approach is informed by over 20 years as an educator and consultant, her experience as an international project leader, and her training in psychotherapy and the arts. She works with corporates through Visible Dynamics and coaches on the UK Government’s Project Leadership Programme at Cranfield University.
