When members connect to a meeting half an hour before starting time (after spending most of their day behind a screen), you know you are part of a great community.
When a guest attendee, a member with 2 other chapters, joining from the other side of the globe, tells you the crowd made him want to move to Luxembourg, you know your chapter matters.
On February 3, 2021, the PMI Luxembourg chapter held its annual General Assembly in a virtual meeting, and despite continued pandemic constraints, toasted to the new year together with its members with a glass of bubbly, a much-appreciated branded gift delivered to the homes of the attendees.
Together, we looked back on how the chapter delivered on events and mentoring sessions and continued its journey of building chapter sustainability in 2020 with a strong and growing team of volunteers. We shared the outlines of the plans we are making for 2021, including an exciting events program, novel marketing ideas, and the announcement of a new mentoring program. Members spontaneously shared more ideas, suggestions for good physical distancing networking tools, and asked to meet up more often in between events.
Our team proudly looks back on the best-visited General Assembly since 2016, thanking its members for their loyalty, passion, and energy. We will see each other soon again!
