PMI LUX - Mental Health in a Stressful World

Mental Health in a stressful world

As the COVID-19 pandemic and its far-reaching implications continue to unfold globally and in our community, it's normal for people to experience a wide range of thoughts, feelings and reactions including stress.

But not only during the pandemic situation, it is essential to manage your level of stress. Especially for project managers, during high workloads, it is crucial to stay calm and take effective actions.

Dr. Jean-Marc Cloos, Medical Director of the Psychiatry Unit at the Hopitaux Robert Schuman in Luxembourg, will explain us what stress really is and how to maintain good mental health.

The event will be accompanied by a panel discussion on the topic of burnout (prevention, treatment, rebound) with Dr. Jean-Marc Cloos, Saskia Van Dyck, EMEA PMO, Goodyear Luxembourg and Stephan Tilquin, Talent Leader, Deloitte Luxembourg.

Dr. Jean-Marc Cloos is the Medical Director of the Psychiatry Unit at HRS. He works at the hospital level as a psychiatrist specialized in addiction and gerontopsychiatry. He is also a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist. He is trained in public health, medical education and management of health care institutions. His scientific articles on benzodiazepines led him to present a second doctorate (in medical sciences) at the University of Liege (ULg). He teaches at the Lycée Technique pour Professions de Santé (LTPS) and is a lecturer at the University of Luxembourg and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
