David Benneyworth is employed with Jackson National Life as an experienced Project Manager. In this role, he utilizes his leadership experience to assist the PM team in managing a variety of IT related projects. The company offers a variety of financial products designed to help individuals pursue their most important long-term financial goals.
Previously, he worked at Thomas & Company as CIO, e+ Cancercare as Director of Project Management, and Cigna-HealthSpring as Applications Manager. He has focused most of his career in the healthcare business sector leading numerous software development projects.
David joined the PMI Nashville chapter in 2009 and soon began assisting the chapter by volunteering on the membership team helping with registration for the monthly meetings. Outside of the PMI world, David volunteers time to help his church, Habitat for Humanity, and Second Harvest Food Bank.
Elise Hudson (PMP, MPA, TOGAF, CSP-SM) has been challenging the status quo in IT for over 25 years. She has traveled the world working for both major corporations and government agencies (her favorite was supporting the NSF in McMurdo Station, Antarctica). Elise has served in various management roles including leading PMOs, workforce management, SDLC/Agile, and Quality Assurance teams. She also enjoys Star Wars, movies, transcendental poetry, and classical music in her spare time.
Anil Sawhney has been involved in Project Management for over 17 years. Anil is a PMP and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Anil has been with the PMI Nashville Chapter for over 9 years and has served as VP of Technology, Communications, President Elect and President role. Anil is currently working as Project Manager with Genesys Telecommunication Labs.

Rodney Driver MBA, PMP, CSM, CISM has over 17 years of experience as an Information Technology professional in various roles and industries. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of Mississippi in Management Information Systems and graduate degree from Bethel University in Business Administration. Currently, Rodney is working as a Manager, Global Projects for Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN. He volunteers his time with Habitat for Humanity and United Way. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, golfing and skiing.

Dr. Shannon Alpert
Dr. Shannon Alpert has managed projects and programs for over 20 years. When she moved to Nashville in the summer of 2018, she promptly sought out the local PMI chapter. She earned her undergraduate degree in English, with a minor in secondary education and masters of science in instructional technology from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She spent the first 15 years of her career leading projects and teams responsible for creating learning and performance improvement solutions in the telecommunications and financial services industries. In addition to being a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Shannon earned her doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where the focus of her research was how projects are managed in academic settings. For the past 8 years, she has taught instructional design, organizational leadership, and project management to masters and doctoral students.

Kim is a Program Manager for LexisNexis, managing software development teams in the US, Canada, and India and has been with the company for 19 years. She holds PMP and CSM certifications, led the successful transformation of her teams from Waterfall to Agile and is passionate about driving her teams to excel. She has been a volunteer with the Nashville PMI chapter for 8 years, and was selected at the PMI Nashville Chapter 2015 Volunteer of the Year. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, and volunteering with her church.
VP of Programs
Linda Stachera is proud to be a State of Tennessee employee for almost 20 years. She has served the state in various capacities, including business analyst, education consultant, grant director, and data coordinator. Linda was the project lead on the ePlan online grants management system for the TN Department of Education. Currently, she works on the Business Solutions Delivery team who manages metrics and tools for Strategic Technology Solutions. Linda is the recipient of the Governor’s Excellence in Service Award for the Spring of 2017. She holds a Mater’s Degree in Management from Austin Peay State University and a Bachelor’s in Science in IT from Tennessee State University. Linda has a PMP, along with CSM, CSPO, and ITIL 4 Foundations certifications. Linda was the PMI Nashville Director working with luncheons since November of 2018. She has also served as a PMP coach for the PMI Nashville Study Group since 2018.
